Marcy McKenna is the product innovator and energetic entrepreneur behind Simply Solved Innovations. Born into a family of inventors, she knew since childhood that inventing was her calling. Inspired by problems she encounters as a female, a business woman, a homemaker and a mother of three she began creating solutions that make life easier, better and a lot more fun.

One such solution garnered the attention of Kelly Ripa, and her TLC television venture, Homemade Millionaire. So much so, that her invention, The Style and Go™ Hair Care Valet, beat out thousands of others to become the winner on Homemade Millionaire’s premiere episode. Fast forward eighteen months and Marcy is in the midst of building an international brand—Simply Solved by Marcy McKenna at the home shopping powerhouse, HSN. She currently has 17 highly creative and innovative products in development, with many others on the horizon.   Four of her most recent innovations have just been given the green light from HSN.

The first of her products to hit the market was The Cambia™ Collection clutch purse, which debuted on HSN in November 2010. Now sold out, The Cambia™ Collection is an interchangeable clutch purse that allows women to effortlessly stay on the forefront of high fashion at a tiny fraction of the cost. The handbag collection caught the eye of Celebrity Stylist Rachel Zoe—Marcy has since partnered with Zoe to redesign the collection with Rachel’s unique aesthetic and to re-launch it under her highly successful brand.

Another of her products, which is still under wraps at this time, recently became the winner of Edison Nation’s “As Seen on TV” product search and will be launching nationwide via infomercial in the near future. Her Homemade Millionaire winning product, The Style and Go™ had its world launch on HSN in July 2012 and became a “Customer Pick” almost immediately. Marcy is now in talks with major retailers, catalogs and international distributors and is expecting to launch The Style & Go™ worldwide in 2013.

Over the past several months Marcy has formed strategic partnerships with three top tier Infomercial companies to scout innovative products for them to take to market. Her business has evolved in such a way that she now also works with aspiring inventors all over the world to help them develop and commercialize their product ideas. To that end, she’s published several entrepreneurial & invention-related blogs and has been a contributor on many online invention sites, as well as a featured guest on morning shows, web shows, national radio shows & podcasts.   She’s currently in talks with a TV production company about potentially hosting an invention reality show that is expected to go head to head with Shark Tank.
