INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

TROUBLE SHOOTING

My Style Stick® didn’t work.

There are four key reasons why this may have happened:

  1. Not enough Style Stick®. This the primary reason for fabric not adhering. Remember to apply liberally.
  2. Not holding fabric firmly for the proper amount of time.  It’s important to hold or press the fabric together for 20-30 seconds.
  3. Not allowing fabric to set for the proper amount of time.  Style Stick® must set for at least one to two minutes.  Try to not move or shift the material for at least 60 seconds after pressing fabric together.
  4. Using Style Stick® on closed weave fabrics. Style Stick® is designed for use on open weave fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, polyester, etc. If you are using it on a closed weave fabric (I.E. fabrics that have a sheen, leather, satin, nylon, etc.) then it is very important to let Style Stick® dry for up to ten minutes after pressing fabric firmly for 30 seconds.

It left a white residue on my clothing.

Style Stick® is non-toxic, acid free and safe for all fabric and clothing.  A slight white residue is normal and is easily be wiped off with a damp sponge or cloth. Because Style Stick® is water-soluble, any residue will also come off in the wash or at the dry cleaners.
